Walmart will invest $ 15.6 million in Santa Ana

Walmart will invest in the construction of a new supermarket in Santa Ana, located on the side of Los 44 Boulevard, with an investment of $ 15.6 million and 140 direct jobs.

The new store will have a total extension of 15,000 sqm, with a sales area of ​​4,629 sqm, 195 parking lots and nine spaces for people with disabilities and future moms, which represents 30% more than what is required for new constructions.

The new store will be make numerous products available in one place, to all Santa Ana residents and inhabitants of the western part of the country. The new store will also provide new services, which can save time and speed up their purchases from the comfort of their homes through the use of new technologies.

Customers can have the system called “Collection Center”, through which they can place their orders by email one hour in advance and then retrieve their items. Five minutes before arrival, the client sends the order number and making use of special parking space at the establishment, the products requested will be delivered.

In addition to this service, the “Self Scan” system modality by which customers can purchase products by themselves is also enabled, at different points of the establishment where buyers can scan, print and buy quickly.

Finally, with the construction of this store, Walmart exceeds the 100 establishments mark and will add more than 5,000 direct jobs in the country.
