Nine airlines have been operating normally from the El Salvador International Airport “San Oscar Arnulfo Romero y Galdamez” since the terminal began operations.
The airlines that are already operating are:

*American Airlines
* Volaris
*United Airlines
* Delta Airlines
* Copa Airlines
* Iberia
* Aeromexico
The last to join as part of the airlines that have resumed their operations at the air terminal after its new reopening on September 19 was Aeroméxico.
“In less than three months of reopening, there are already nine airlines that are operating, connecting with 22 cities, in addition the operations of commercial passenger flights have also increased progressively”, said the president of the Autonomous Port Executive Commission (CEPA) , Federico Ánliker.
He added that since that date the Airport has carried out 2,404 commercial operations. In December they expect these operations to increase by 45% in daily flight operations, which will mean that about 90 daily flights will be received. Currently about 62 daily departure and arrival flights are received.
According to the itineraries for this month, an average of 28 daily operations are expected, 14 for arrival and 14 for departure, achieving an average increase of 45% compared to the flights served in November 2020.
Since the opening of the terminal, a total of 176,804 passengers have been mobilized.
Anliker reiterated that the terminal continues to apply the biosecurity protocols that were announced in its reopening, so travelers entering or leaving the country must comply with these series of measures.
