The Ministry of Economy confirmed that El Salvador presents positive figures in its exports and that after the emergency caused by the coronavirus, the recovery of the textile and apparel and pharmaceutical sectors, among others, is remarkable.
According to official data, last October was the second highest monthly value of exports so far this year, which is equivalent to $ 508.6 million, approaching the amounts before the pandemic.
According to Economía, the four sectors that have recovered the most in October are: clothing, maquila, pharmaceuticals and textiles.
In addition, it was highlighted that, during October, Salvadoran exports to the United States increased 10.4%, which meant US $ 21.7 million more, compared to the same month of the previous year.
