On January 31st the Export and Investment Promotion Agency of El Salvador (PROESA) participated in the inauguration of Hotel Boutique Casa 1800, in the city of Suchitoto, an investment that has been constantly supported by PROESA for its development.
The project was launched by the Tourist Group Salvadorean Tours, a Salvadoran capital firm, and it will generate about 50 jobs in the department of Cuscatlán.
The hotel has 12 rooms set and decorated under the inspiration of a colonial Suchitoto and the infrastructure chosen has been recognized as Cultural Heritage of El Salvador. It will join to Café 1800, which already has creations of emblematic dishes, and is a friendly space with the environment, operating free of plastics.
This investment, explains the head of PROESA, Salvador Gómez Góchez, is a part of the Despegue Económico Plan, which is “a clear commitment to increase investment in El Salvador, to correct deficiencies and support economic areas that generate jobs, articulating all the State institutions and leading the country to true development.
The event was attended by PROESA´s Investment Promotion Manager, Vanesa Bandak; General Manager of the Salvadoran Corporation of Tourism CORSATUR, Juan José Pineda; General Manager and Marketing Manager of Casa 1800, Cecilia Arias and Rodrigo Moreno; PROMERICA Banca Pyme´s manager, Mariella Orellana; and father Mario Orellana, presbyter of the Santa Lucia Church, in Suchitoto.
